Viva 2 Module 3 A comer Lesson 1 (of 3)

Spanish Viva 2 Module 3 A comer Lesson 1 A self-contained lesson to accompany Viva 2, Module 3. Includes starter, reading, speaking and writing, a game and a plenary. Attractive animated graphics make it appealing to pupils. Objectives by red/amber/green traffic lights to encourage pupils to aim to complete each level. “Super learner” graphic to show extension. Encourages use of target language. It may well be enough for more than one lesson if you use it alongside your Viva 2 resources. The resource is the lesson plan: read the slide notes carefully beforehand and they will guide you through the lesson with extra ideas for use/extension etc. The date will automatically be correct but you may have to set up your PC/laptop to do this, too. See the accompanying information sheet for instructions. ¡Buena suerte!

Viva 2 Module 3 A comer Lesson 3 (of 3)

Spanish Viva 2 Module 3.2 lesson 3 (of 3) If you use Viva 2 for your classes, this is to accompany Viva 2 Module 3.2 about meal times. It is a self-contained lesson which you could use on its own, or use to go alongside the Viva resources. What does it include? This lesson recaps basic foods and drinks from prior learning, introduces meal time vocab’ plus adds in some new words, too. See the accompanying information sheet for more information. If you have the textbook, use listenings from it but this will provide plenty of reading, speaking and writing opportunities.

A comer

3 Resources
A week’s worth of lessons to accompany the third unit of Viva 2. Fully interactive and to run alongside to consolidate or independently of, if you’re short of resources, the textbook. Based on three lessons of fifty minutes each. The date in Spanish within the powerpoint should change automatically (use google or a tech whizz if you need help if your machine won’t do it!). Any constructive reviews gratefully received.

Tout sur moi

Tout sur moi

Jigsaw pieces for pupils to develop simple writing about themselves. Useful to help develop independence in writing: you may wish to use it as a crib sheet. It could act as a speaking aide-mémoire also. See also my Tout sur Moi template which has sentence beginnings to support weaker pupils.

Blank jigsaw pieces

Blank jigsaw pieces to complete with written personal information. If cut out, the pieces should tessellate if turned around. Could make an effective activity for lower ability groups...

Lesson 2. Use to introduce or consolidate work on unit 1.2 of Viva 1 Module 1 Mi Vida. Plenty of activities to fill a lesson plus in-built differentiation. Ooops! The picture I used here is of a girl...I'll rectify this in the resource and the image ASAP! Apologies...
Tienda de ropa - repaso

Tienda de ropa - repaso

Spanish En la tienda de ropa - repaso Good for cover; worksheet with a few activities about clothes shopping. Vocab’ match. Vocab’ copying. Translate a shop dialogue into Spanish. Pattern matching (e.g. de flores + picture). Extension ideas: learners could make up their own shop dialogues, look up more vocabulary. Create dialogues for each other to translate. Update Following a three star review, I’ve added an extra sheet for extension work where more guidance is needed than what I’ve suggested above.

Le jour de la Saint-Valentin

(13)
A resource pack in French based around St Valentine’s Day for Years 7 to 11. Variety of worksheets (wordsearch/spot the difference) so you have something for each year group every year. There is a cover page for each year group so you could print separate booklets. I’ve found a typo: amoureuz should be amoureux - apologies! Amusez-vous bien. I will not be editing this resource any more because: …this resource has been upgraded. You can find my year-group specific work booklets here: https://www.tes.com/resources/search/?authorId=232746&q=Valentine%27s%20Day&shop=Polly_Glott These grow in complexity across the year groups and use language your learners will probably already familiar with as well as Valentine’s vocabulary. This means the booklets are great as an end of half-term or cover resource.
