I'm a Secondary English and Drama teacher, Head of House and Multilingual Learner Lead based in the Channel Islands. I have 12 years of teaching experience and am currently studying for a Masters in Education. My resources span across all of these areas and are editable, dyslexia friendly (I'm dyslexic myself!) and versatile enough to be tailored to the needs of students, with varying levels of scaffolding and opportunity for independent work. If you purchase, please do leave a review! :)

Christmas Quiz 2

Another Christmas quiz I originally used for a family quiz night but can easily be adapted and used for school (I’ll be doing so this year!). It easily runs to two hours so can take up two lessons, a week of form time or can be cut down. Consists of: Picture Round - Christmas Dingbats (My students did great with these but my adult family members struggled - use your judgement for this one!) Round 1 - Christmas Trivia Round 2 - Santa Identity Parade Round 3 - General Knowledge 2023** (this is 2023 specific and quite advanced but can be changed/adapted easily enough!)** Musical Interlude This includes a QR code to download a Christmas single by a local choir in aid of Jersey Hospice. Feel free to delete! **Round 4 - Santa or Satan. Identify the Christmas Movie Villain Round 5 - Intros Round - REVERSED! Identify the song from the reversed intro. Sounds a bit demonic but a good challenge! Round 6 - Christmas Around the World (Santa’s name in 12 different languages; what language/country is it?) All videos are embedded and links included if needed. Answers are also at the end with animations. Check the ‘Notes’ section of each slide for comments/ideas on acceptable answers, what is worth a half point, etc. A tie breaker also added at the end.
