An introduction or revision set of 2 lessons based on Packaging. Suitable for the AQA GCSE Product Design course. Lesson 1 covers the functions of and purpose of packaging. Covers the six functions of packaging and an overview of the information required on packaging including a logo identification plenary. Lesson 2 is a powerpoint lesson to teach or review the materials and processes for packaging materials. Includes information, student tasks and past exam based questions linked to the topic. Ideal for revision *For lesson 1: Would suggest to use the addition of physical examples of packaging for the student activity to identify features of packaging/how packaging conforms to the six functions.

Focus is on the sensory analysis of the products base don cooking methods and to introduce the analysis of healthy/unhealthy cooking methods. Ideal for Hospitality and Catering course, can also be used for KS3 or KS4 Food and Nutrition courses. Product made was meatballs through a practical investigations - method sheets are part of the second part of the powerpoint and were printed for use. Includes use of QR code videos for support.
