Been teaching English in various forms (KS1-4, GCSE, SEN, EFL, Functional Skills, FE, private tutor) since 2001. Glad to have left the classroom due to poor management, poor behaviour, mounds of marking. Sad to have left the classroom for those groups that make you smile; the students that teach you new ideas; the camaraderie of a great staff room. I've taught English in England and South Korea and scuba diving in Thailand. Tutoring now for students who are awaiting further school provision due to permanent exclusion, as well as starting my own business.
