A resource to practise food, shops and essential items vocabulary in Spanish,whilt developing numeracy skills when talking about prices. It includes images of 5 different shops (verdulería y frutería, carnicería y charcutería, pescadería, panadería y pastelería and ultramarinos) with images of products you can find in them. Each item is labelled with a price in euros. The material offers multiple didactic possibilities. Here are some ideas: Role play: pupils divide the role of the shopkeeper and the costumer to establish a transactional conversation to sell/buy products. Listening tasks: the teacher might create a conversation at one of the shops and read it out loud whislt pupils add up all the prices to get the exact amount of money they would be spending. Find the vocabulary item, translation game: pupils could be prompted to find a specific item by listening to its description in the Target Language or simply its translation into English or whichever their mother tongue is.
