Enjoy this Editable Venn Diagram TEMPLATE to help your students comparing and contrasting two different topics. Venn Diagrams can be used as formative assessments with any topic your students are studying in your (Google) classroom. This resource consists of a Google Slides file, with 2 different versions of the Venn Diagram (Oval and Column Venn Diagram), each with different designs and colored templates. There are editable text fields or text boxes on each of the 16 templates. To edit, simply type into the text fields or text boxes. List the similarities in the middle section and the differences in the outer circles. You can resize the text boxes as needed in order to fit the different parts of the graphic organizer. The background of the Venn Diagram is ‘locked’ and the only thing the students can edit are the text fields and the text boxes. This prevents the students from deleting anything by accident. Math Tarsia Puzzle: DIVISION FACTS (DIVIDING BY 1 - 10) In this activity, students will practice division with divisors between 1 and 10, as they piece together the pieces of each tarsia puzzle (5 DIFFERENT PUZZLES INCLUDED). Students will match their answers with a separate puzzle piece until all the math problems have been solved and the puzzle is completed. Bill Nye the Science Guy: RESPIRATION (Season 2, Episode 20). This video worksheet includes a combination of fill-in-the blank, true/false, and/or short answer questions. Students fill in the video guide while watching Bill Nye the Science Guy. Watching a video is no longer a passive activity!! Students are engaged during the video as they must listen and write at the same time. This video worksheet has 19 questions. The video questions are relatively easy to answer while watching the video and are not so complicated that they require a great deal of writing. An answer key is included with this product. The worksheet is printable, and NO prep is required. I have also included a QR code link to the video. This means that students can do the worksheet on their own even if they are absent.
