The Teacher Development Trust is an independent national charity that aims to improve educational outcomes for children by raising the quality of teacher professional development. By working in close contact with schools, training providers and policy makers, we work to ensure that all training and consultancy is carried out in line with international best practice, empowering teachers to lead their own professional development in a way that benefits the young people in their classes. Our two major programmes include: the TDT Schools Network, a collaborative partnership of schools focussed on innovation and improvement through highly effective, evidence-based staff professional development; and GoodCPDGuide.com, a free database of high-quality professional development resources for education.
