Through questions and answers we’ll explore what editing is and why it’s so important. Nazneen will share top tips to look out for when editing a piece of writing. After each tip students will have the opportunity to apply the tip, followed by students on screen sharing the changes they’ve made.

Please download the activity sheet and distribute it to your pupils before the lesson begins. It contains activities for them to work on during the lesson, including a short paragraph for them to edit during activity 2. You can also ask them to have a piece of their own writing ready to edit during this activity.
