A powerpoint recapping numbers to 20 using different concrete resources. Resources used: Whiteboards and dry erase markers Straws and elastic bands Unifix cubes and number tracks Unifix cubes and tens frames Counters and tens frames Numicon and 0-10 number lines Bead strings Rekenreks Base ten blocks and 0-20 number lines Base ten blocks and place value charts (tens and ones columns) Notes: I used this over two lessons to recap numbers from 0 - 20 with my Year 2 pupils. Pupils went back and forth from the carpet to their tables On the carpet, I modeled how to use the resource At their tables, they had a go on their own or with a partner I only put out one resource on their tables at a time. Feel free to use / change this ppt however you want to make it work for your class. Hope it is a helpful starting point! ** Please leave a rating if you use this :)
