There are two writing models; Snow Monkeys and Puffins. Each model has a graphic organiser to aid students in deconstructing the paragraph. This process helps students to intuit the structure of a descriptive paragraph. It draws special attention to a six-step writing process; brainstorm, draft, share, edit, revise and publish. There is a checklist to aid students in monitoring their progress through a writing process. The workbook is printed on loose leaf notebook style paper.
