All of the pictures are carefully chosen so that the children will know what it is, no point using a cockatiel! The letters on this sheet are chosen o meet Phase 2 of the Letters and Sounds phonics programme.
Y5/6 Geography -Coasts - lesson 1
The first introductory lesson to Coasts for Year 5/6 geography. The lesson plan details everything that you will need for the lesson. All recording sheets and activities are included. The interactive whiteboard presentation has a number of pictures as well as teaching points and questions to help with teaching about coasts and sea defence systems. I also have two other notebook files that are coastal pictures but they’re fairly large files and slow to upload but if anyone wants them, please contact me.
Story Volcano Planner
This is a story volcano planner - one blank, one filled in. The idea is that the 5 boxes that flow around the volcano should help children when they’re planning and writing a story to write effectively. It encourages children to look at the beginning, the build up, the climax, problem, the resolution and the ending. I’d say that this is suitable for all of KS2.
