We are ExcitEd to share an English reading comprehension lesson aimed at children in UKS2. The focus of the lesson is Bastille Day and the start of the French Revolution. A great topical resource for the summer term, but of interest all year round. The lesson plan includes a script for an interactive role-play session where the teacher takes the role of the narrator. This is immersive and engaging reenactment is followed by an English reading comprehension activity, which can be printed as a neat booklet.
