A GCSE Geography revision activity on the topic of coastal environments. The dominoes can be used in pairs/ groups to allow students to work together to form the chain of key terms and definitions. Alternatively, the cards can be distributed throughout the class and students can take it in turns to read out their cards and the next student must identify their key term, stand up and read it out.

This is a one hour lesson taught as a 'taster' for Geography during year 6 transition week in Secondary school. It was taught to a large, mixed ability class of year 6 students to inspire an interest in Geography. The lesson focus is on animal adaptations, looking at the reason for adaptation and examples of it. These resources were used as part of a carousel activity during a Summer School event for year 7 students before they joined high school.
