A pair of lessons and a worksheet covering sections 5.1.4 a-i of the OCR Physics specification- the gas laws It covers: The gas laws The ideal gas Kinetic theory The effect of newtons Laws Internal energy PAG 8 The two lessons and the PAG take around 5 hours in total. All answers are included I generally try to reduce copying so other than the worksheet all resources are found in the lesson PPT

A full lesson covering section 6.2.4 a-d of the OCR Chemistry specification- making carbon-carbon bonds. The lesson starts by looking at why we need to form new carbon-carbon bonds. It then looks at the reactions with haloalkanes and acyl chlorides and the reaction mechanisms behind both. The lesson then looks at the reactions of the nitriles and how they can be used in organic synthesis. The final part of the lesson looks at the reactions with benzene and how additional side chains can be added. There are lots of student independent tasks and all answers are provided I aim to reduce photocopying so all activities are within the PPT (32 slides in total)

A complete lesson covering section 6.2.3 a-c of the OCR Chemistry specification- condensation polymerisation to form polyesters and polyamides. The lesson starts by recapping addition polymerisation for year 12. It then introduces condensation polymers. The lesson then goes through the formation of polyamides and polyesters using either one monomer or two. The lesson includes multiple opportunities for students to independently practice. The lesson then covers the hydrolysis of polymers to return to the original monomers. The final part of the lesson is practice at working out the original monomer using a digram of the original polymer. The lesson includes lots of independent tasks I aim to reduce photocopying so all activities and answers are in the PowerPoint- a total of 42 slides
