I am a PE teacher who has taught the subject for 14 years. I teach A Level to the OCR specification. I have worked for Ofqual to accredit the new specifications, so know the new A Level PE course inside out. I also teach G.C.S.E PE to the Edexcel spec. I am a practical moderator at GCSE level and an exam marker at A Level. I also teach BTEC level 3 Unit 1 and I have worked again for Ofqual to look at this vocational course and to compare it with others, namely the OCR technicals.

It includes all the specification from Bones, Joints, Movements, the new Neuromuscular Junction section, Planes & Axis, the Cardiovascular System at rest & exercise and the Respiratory system at rest and during exercise. It is a module by module approach with the OCR specification for that particular module/section first slide. Ive created this to help myself and my students but it would save you time. It took me about 6 weeks to make!!! Enjoy...
These are 17 worksheets all about the new Action Potential module and the old topic of Muscle Fibre Types that are in the AS Anatomy & Physiology module for OCR. There are roleplay sheets, tables, tests & answers, quizzes, match up words & key words to cut out. Lots of the resources are colourful and helped my students understand the new module about how the all or none law works.
These are 9 worksheets on the Cardiovascular System of Unit 1 of the BTEC Nationals L3 (new spec). There is also an end of unit test/revision sheet to see what they know/dont know, as there is a question or 2 on every sub-topic in this section of the course.
These are 25 worksheets covering Component 2, Topic 1 (1.1 Health, 1.2 Sedentary lifestyles and 1.3 Diet, Optimum Weight) for the new spec GCSE course for Edexcel. The worksheets have crosswords & answers, activity tasks for some topics, tables, fill in the blanks etc. There is only 1 worksheet for mental preparation as its such a small topic!!
This is 4 pages of questions on each topic of the new specification of Pearson’s GCSE PE. There are 6 rows and 6 columns on each page. The colours correspond to a topic. There are 2 pages on component 1 & 2 pages on component 2.
This can be used as revision in pairs with counters to get across the board (as the top columns are the easiest questions) or down to see if knowledge is good/bad on a particular topic.
Makes revision competitive and more fun!! Ive laminated mine.
These are 8 word documents with all of the new (Spec 2016+)A Level physical education, Acquisition of Skill Topics: skill continua to Feedback, and the only A2 topic: MEMORY. It covers the OCR specification. Each page has all of the info of that particular topic condensed onto one page. Im using them as revision sheets for my students and displaying them on the walls!!
This is an entire powerpoint (79 slides) for all of the modules of the new spec OCR AS Skill Acquisition topic. It includes the total skill specification and breaks it down into the 7 modules including:
1. Classification of skills (the 6 continuua)

3. Transfer of skills (bilateral, retro, pro, positive/negative)
4. Principles & theories of learning movement skills (operant, cognitive, social)
5. stages of learning (cognitive, associative, autonomous)
6. guidance (manual, mechanical, visual, verbal)
7. feedback (KR, KP, positive, negative, internal, external)
There are lots of slides on each topic with pictures and theory behind the content. There is also the specification for each of the topics, so you know you have taught the correct stuff!! There are past paper questions & answers and tables for the critically evaluate parts of the course. I found this really important as lots of the topics of the old skill specification had changed. i.e. lots had been taken out.
These are mindmaps for GCSE PE for the Edexcel Specification (from 2016 onwards). They are for Component 1 (normally taught in year 10 for most schools) covering Topic1: Anatomy & Physiology, Topic 2: Movement Analysis, and Topic 3: Physical Training.
Each sub topic has a page with colourful boxes with a single question for the students to answer in each box. There is one topics content to one page. E.g. planes and axes has a page, principles of training has a page. This is really aimed at more able students who know their stuff but maybe have forgotten how much info is needed for each topic.

This is a handbook for the new GCSE PEP coursework (2016+) for the new GCSE for Edexcel. Its guided towards showing the students how to structure the 3 parts and it gives examples of good/bad practice for all the sections. It has a contents page, with important info, grade boundaries, how to structure part 1, part 2, part 3, student exemplars (4 marks, 1 marks and 18 marks) and some essential sheets, like candidate authentication form, and training form and a PARQ form.
There is also a student starter sheet to get the students planning how they will run their PEP (e.g. how they will show progressive overload over the 6 weeks).
There is also a student booklet with a tick list to show them a good example of each part and a column for them to tick it once they have done it (e.g. included qualitative data on performance).

AS:
skill
practice

This was a resource I got off the TES from someone else, and it prompted me to update it for the new spec. It is for the AS OCR Sports Psychology side of the course. Each of the 9 topics has a page each with a list of tasks a student can do. E.g. Define the term Arousal. The student can then RAG rate their ability and below is a list of what their next approach will be. E.g. to ask a peer, independent research etc.
Totally free as i've revamped someone else's work. If its useful I will do the other topics. See what you think?
These are 3 landscaped word documents covering all the specification points for each of the 3 topics:
