I am a PE teacher who has taught the subject for 14 years. I teach A Level to the OCR specification. I have worked for Ofqual to accredit the new specifications, so know the new A Level PE course inside out. I also teach G.C.S.E PE to the Edexcel spec. I am a practical moderator at GCSE level and an exam marker at A Level. I also teach BTEC level 3 Unit 1 and I have worked again for Ofqual to look at this vocational course and to compare it with others, namely the OCR technicals.

GCSE Physical Education PEP Handbook (New Spec 2016+) Edexcel

This is a handbook for the new GCSE PEP coursework (2016+) for the new GCSE for Edexcel. Its guided towards showing the students how to structure the 3 parts and it gives examples of good/bad practice for all the sections. It has a contents page, with important info, grade boundaries, how to structure part 1, part 2, part 3, student exemplars (4 marks, 1 marks and 18 marks) and some essential sheets, like candidate authentication form, and training form and a PARQ form. There is also a student starter sheet to get the students planning how they will run their PEP (e.g. how they will show progressive overload over the 6 weeks). There is also a student booklet with a tick list to show them a good example of each part and a column for them to tick it once they have done it (e.g. included qualitative data on performance). A seperate document from Pearson is a mark sheet on how to score the PEP, with a useful calculator system.

GCSE PE Edexcel New Spec 2016 CV System End of Unit Test & Answers

(0)
This is an end of unit test for the Cardiovascular System section of the NEW SPEC 2016 Edexcel GCSE PE course. It starts with a cover sheet (name, target grade etc with a FAR marking section to give feedback), and the grade boundaries to the new 9-1 scale (this is a guess, but once the boundaries are confirmed it can be updated). The next page has the specification for the module with the question numbers that test that particular section. Then there's the test with a student reflective box at the end. The other word document is the ANSERS in red, so its obvious. I am going to use them for my students and collate their results on a big overview sheet. Still working on that one!!
