This is a great task mixing together english and visual arts. In this pack you have a powerpoint explaining the task with links to artists and examples. You also have a pack of poems for students and mood board to help frame their ideas.

This is a really cool creative thinking idea where students can use their recording skills and imagination skills to bring objects to life. This took me about 2/4 lessons to complete fully and has lots of different parts/extensions! My students loved designing their own inanimate object and giving them a profile.

This lesson gives students an introduction to Typography and the chance to them use this skill to create their own shoe box for a shoe brand. In this pack is a powerpoint, worksheet/helpsheet and a plain box template for planning. Students could use the planning template as their final piece or go on to cut out a small shoe box template to transfer their ideas across.
