Hybrid Animals Collage and Drawing task!

An really cool and exciting lesson where students can collage together different parts of animals to create hybirds, looking at other Artists work. This lets students think about making a ‘response’ and try out a new medium. After my students designed their animals we went on to practise some dry-point print but this could also led to a mono-printing task!

Similarities and Differences FULL SOL

(0)
This is a full SOL with all Powerpoints, worksheets, review tasks, extensions, homeworks, some cover options, AO and SOL overview sheet. Students are introduced to the wider world of diversity within Art. They are presented with examples of how Artists explore their own identities, opinions, and social situations through Artwork. Students will analysis the work of Hundertwasser and Grayson Perry to gain understanding in the value of imperfection and self-expression. In this scheme, students are encouraged to discover their own identity, to response to the autobiographical work of Perry. Students then present their discoveries by creating an Auto-biographical Coil Pot, which visually replicates Hundertwasser intentionally imperfect style and speaks to the beauty of diversity.
