Starter - Word fill based on previous lesson
Main - Students translate DNA to determine the mutation, then they translate the protein to see the effect on the protein and write a brief statement which is then compared to a pre-prepared brief statement.

Students have a RNA sheet to fill in as they enter to check their knowledge.
Students then play Splat to check keyword knowledge
Students then work in groups to achieve 100% on the 6 exam questions (approx 40 marks)
