This resource links directly to Big Maths CLIC on your planning. Each slide goes in order of CLIC: Counting Learn its It’s nothing new Calculation The way I use it is at the start of each Maths lesson this CLIC sessions lasts 10-15 minutes, using pace to go over the basics in maths (Making sure to change the calculations necessary so they are not doing the same ones again). At the end of the week I use the CLIC challenges so they can use what they have learned. I hope you like the resource I have developed, it was catered for my class so you may want to adapt it for yours, you may notice as you run through them that the HA may need extra challenge as I have.

WARNING THIS USES TWINKL CURSIVE FONT. IT MAY MAY NEED ADJUSTING IF YOU DON’T HAVE THIS FONT INSTALLED I used this as an introductory 2 lessons. We worked together with a lot of discussion for the picture sheet. The next Guided reading lesson we did the comprehension task with the short text and then finished off any missing questions. After this the children were independent with their Picture Guided Reading. Thanks to the amazing website onceuponapicture, my class have been enjoying practising their prediction, inference and story writing skills during guided reading. I decided to modify them a bit to be slightly differentiated. Hope you find them useful.
