This double-sided mat provides the students of all abilities with a lot of useful language to support them when writing about themselves, their family and friends and their relationships.
Page one contains a lot of vocabulary (nouns, adjectives, conjunctions, time phrases and intensifiers) as well as a series of scaffolding structures (“sentence starters”). The second page contains twelve key verbs conjugated in the first person singular (yo) in six different tenses (the preterite, the imperfect, the present, the future, the conditional and the present subjunctive). Finally, there is also a section on complex structures on the second page, with plenty of examples of comparatives and superlatives, conditional sentences (“si fuera…”) and negative sentences.
(Note - please ignore the preview of the Word file, there is an ongoing issue with Word previews in TES; the file looks like the PDF shows)

A booklet with eight 150-word questions to revise the theme of Current and Future Study and Employment of the new Spanish GCSE exam.
There are two questions for each of the topics in Theme Three (My studies, School Life, Education Post-16 and Jobs, career choices and ambitions).
Each of the questions contains two bullet points that the students are expected to cover; the bullet points are written to resemble the ones found in the 2018 paper and those in the sample questions provided by AQA. At least one of the bullet points in each question prompts the students to refer to either the past or the future, and several questions ask the students to write their “recommendations”.
Finally, the booklet also contains a copy of the mark scheme for the 150 word question and an overview of the themes and topics.
This resource can be used as part of everyday teaching, as end of unit assessment, for revision purposes and it is an easy way of setting useful homework.

This booklet contains 18 discussion cards based on Theme 2 of the new AQA Spanish A Level course (Artistic culture in the Hispanic world).
The cards contain quite a lot of factual information about the theme (a lot more than the sample cards from AQA) and three questions, the first one always being “How do you react to the information on this card?”.
The aim of presenting the cards like this is to provide the students with a lot of ideas on what to say about the theme, as well as making them more aware that they always have to discuss the information printed on the card (AO2 and AO4).
Each section is followed by around 20 questions for the students to research / discuss the topic further.
Finally, the booklet also contains an overview of the A Level course and the Paper 3 exam, as well as a list of useful language for the test.

Each of them includes information on each the topics that are part of the sub theme (positive and negative aspects of immigration, Immigration in Latin America and Undocumented immigrants) followed by three questions on the topic, the first of which always asks the students about their reaction to the information in the card.
There are two cards per topic.

A set of 26 Photo Cards covering the whole of Theme 3 (Current and future study and employment) of the new GCSE course:
3.a. My studies (8 cards)
3.b. Life at school / college (6 cards)
3.c. Education post-16 (4 cards)

Each card includes five foundation questions (in red) and five higher question (in blue), the first of which is always '¿Qué hay en la foto?.
If you like this resource, Photo Cards for theme one and theme two, as well as a booklet covering all three themes, are also available in my shop.
UPDATED: I have modified this resource to better resemble the photo cards on the AQA exam: there are now five foundation and five higher questions on each card (instead of four). At foundation level one of the first three questions (what in the exam would be the printed questions) requires the use of a tense other than the present. At higher level references to three time frames are needed, with one time frame other than the present required in one of the first three questions and the remaining time frame in one of the other two questions.
A set of resources to cover the whole of theme 3 of the new GCSE Spanish course (AQA):
- current and future studies
- employment
- photo cards (speaking exam)
- role plays
A whole unit of work to teach the topic of school to Year 7 students.
The Notebook presentation (44 slides) covers the following areas:
- school subjects
- opinions
- adjectives and
- timetable and the time
- school facilities
- general information about school
- school uniform
The grammar focus is on agreement of adjectives, opinions in the past and "hay" and "no hay".
All supported with 11 worksheets, including a writing frame summarising the whole topic.
Update: I have now included a PowerPoint version of the main file, converted from the original Notebook file. I recommend whenever possible to use the original version, as the file conversion has changed the layout of some slides and some features work less effectively on Power Point.

This booklet contains eight questions that follow the format of the 90-word questions in the new Spanish GCSE writing exam. They cover all aspects of Theme 3 (Current and future study and employment), and they can be used in lessons, but also as an easy way to set useful homework activities for the students.
All questions include four bullet points that the students are prompted to cover, and they explicitly require them to include references to three time frames and opinions (as per the AQA mark scheme). When possible, one of the bullet points starts with 'qué hiciste', a question which appears in many of the AQA samples and that some students often fail to understand.
