Many parts are also suitable for children themselves especially the videos. Uniquely designed and produced my myself and an extremely reputable colleague for use at inset in school, who has now gone on to advise in this area. As we designed this resource collaboratively I am lucky enough to be able to post these particular elements here. I have also included slide handouts and and a Mac / Keynote / iPad version of the resource, which also has embedded video files. Note the keynote version of the resource has additional special effects for Mac / OS/ iPad users. LOTS of resources for writing match reports themed on quite a few of the Euro '16 football championship games. Easily adapted for other tournaments / matches. Resources for writing a match report on the game on Thursday 16th June between Wales and England, and (unfortunately) the game on Monday 28th June against Iceland. I have also included a comprehension for this and some other activities. The first set of activities I designed for my year 4 class who do 'reading response.&' This means after / during reading a book they take on one of the following tasks.

A Smart Notebook file, about finding change from £1. The coins can be moved into the actual hand as required to help the childrens understanding. I can’t stress how helpful the notebook file is to illustrate this. Pupils must write the names of the bones (written to match up) next to the corrent location on the skeleton. This can easily be differentiated by not giving higher ability pupils the list of bones to match up. There are 29 in total. A really high quality worksheet

A bumper set of resources initially used in the Year 4 topic of: Creating Images with Poetry, Similes and Metaphors. Due to the popularity of this resource I have included a Powerpoint I used for a very successful ‘Outstanding’ observation lesson by Ofsted involving describing a beach setting with similes and metaphors. I recently adapted this in this for a year 6 class I taught and we produced some fantastic work. There is also quite a few poems I have written using Similes and Metaphors in them to create images and a few more resources too including a soothing soundtrack and background to play on your IW on loop.

I couldn’t find any materials on this when I needed to teach my year 3 class what the equals sign REALLY meant. I have included the lesson plan I used, the 3 differentiated worksheets and a Powerpoint I made. Also have included a homework set of resource sheets (could alternatively be used in class as a reinforcement at a later date.) UPDATE: I have added a more challenging resource for year 3/4
