In L3 Metabolism, students will learn what metabolism is and how it is a combination of anabolism and catabolism, this links nicely with the theory of Hydrolysis and Condensation reactions covered in the previous 2 lessons. (See L1 & L2). In L3 students will focus more closely on Lipids/Fatty acid and begin to gain a better understanding of condensation reactions and how ester bonds can form to make triglycerides.
