Psychology in Science - Fight or Flight Response

(1)
This is a lesson designed to be woven into GCSE Science to help students apply their learning and think more about how their learning works in other ways. This lesson is designed to slot in the homeostasis or the inheritance, variation and evolution topics. It is designed to help students to understand the area in more depth and apply science to their life. It also aims to give an appreciation of how varied science can be – it’s not all biology, chemistry and physics! This lesson can also be used as a taster session for Psychology or as an introduction to Psychology following the completion of GCSEs.

Revision Sheets AQA Triple Science (9-1)

(1)
This is based on the Collins AQA GCSE (9-1) Text books. It includes what pages are relevant for those on Triple Science (higher tier) , what required practicals are and key vocabulary for each topic. I use these as a introduction to new topics and throughout the unit. Students are able to tick lessons as they complete them and ensure they know the required vocabulary. They help students to target their revision and understand what they need to do to catch up if they miss lessons.
