I have been teaching MATHEMATICS (11-16) since 1990. I have regularly been commended on my classroom displays and the quality of my resources as I feel this enriches the student experience.
As a self-taught graphic designer I now produce professional quality materials for our academy/academy chain across all departments including posters/banners and promotional materials. I am currently working on updating some older resources as well as developing new ones!

A single worksheet that involves using the cardinal and inter-cardinal points/directions to solve a logic puzzle.
It also involved reading the clues, matching this description up to a monster and associated letter which could be very challenging!
Complete the worksheet OR print off the separate STUDENT ANSWER GRID and CHECKLIST and save the ORIGINAL worksheet for another time which saves on printing costs.
I have not tried this with students myself yet so if you do use it I would love to know how it went.
An activity to consolidate the recognition and matching of upper and lower case letters.
This could also be used as a colour matching activity.
It is a double-sided worksheet (or 2 single-sided ones ) that the pupils have to match up UPPER CASE MONSTER to the lower case spiders.
Please look out for other resources in the ‘MONSTER’ series for both MATHS, ENGLISH and general use such as displays and activities.
There will also be the opportunity to download the 1000+ images of all the images for use in your own resources, projects and displays.
** Work out the monster values through MATHEMATICAL REASONING.
Includes 9 puzzles to solve (each puzzle has 4 sub-questions)
Involves substituting found values into ‘equations’**

I have not tested this out yet so if you do use it I would love to know how it goes
I expect there may be more in this series. (if I get the time)
*** APOLOGIES TO THE FIRST FEW PEOPLE WHO DOWNLOADED THIS RESOURCE as I FOUND A MISTAKE ON Q2
but It was downloaded by some before I had the chance to rectify it.
(I rectified this by putting a ‘1+’ before the last clue on Q2 on each of the files)
THE CURRENT VERSION SHOULD BE OK

The title is Magic Squares of Squares but this is really another way to look at substituting values into expressions, multiplying out double brackets and collecting like terms together before solving a quadratic equation. Also deciding, in some cases, if both values or just one of the values found from solving the quadratic are valid.
Just something, I hope that is a bit different from the usual.
ANSWERS included
ANOTHER comprehensive set of blank templates(40+) for you to use in your own documents, Powerpoints and Notebook slides etc. Only a few examples are shown the the image gallery above. You can import a template and resize it to what is required , either a large version or multiples per sheet (if you use the PDF version you can do this in the print settings automatically)
These include.
A set of grids and examples for creating a curve-stitched ALPHABET
A set using cube/rhombus patterns and more
On some of the more complicated patterns images of how to get started and steps along the way are provided
Let the students investigate different patterns they can make by joining spots up in different ways ( see investigation results graphic)
This is a follow up resource to my original curve stitching resource which is also FREE to download.

10 DIFFERENCES to find on each puzzle
A colleague I made them for is intending to LAMINATE the print version of the puzzles so the pupils can use a dry wipe pen on them and they can be reused.
The POWERPOINT could be used as a class activity where all the pupils are trying to spot the differences on a puzzle on the interactive whiteboard.
All the separate elements of this resource are included as png files.
All the separate puzzles are included as JPG files
SOME OF THESE PUZZLES MAY BE MORE CHALLENGING THAN YOU THINK!
A good exercise in observation skills?

IN this set of puzzle each Christmas Icon represents a DIGIT (0-9). Pupils have to workout which icon represents which digit by using logic and reasoning skills
INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED PUZZLES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE
There are each set there are 3 sheets of 3 puzzles.
Each pupil could have a sheet each or they could be cut into individual puzzles

SEARCH-FIND-COUNT FARM ANIMALS
USE INCLUDED POWERPOINT for WHOLE CLASS INVOLVEMENT
WORKSHEET AND ANSWERS CAN BE PRINTED VIA POWERPOINT
I have not tried this as I am a secondary teacher but I was trying to come up with an idea for a primary college that would make counting ‘more interesting’ .
I thought that the main image may be laminated to allow pupils to use a whiteboard marker to cross off/ circle the ones they have found.
A tally chart(s) also could be used.
I have included all the ARTWORK I have drawn as individual clip-art so that you could use them to create your own PowerPoints, Notebook files etc

There are 3 of each animal in the grid (one animal there is 4) to find.
With answers and graphics to use in your own documents and PowerPoints etc.
ALSO see my CHINESE NEW YEAR POSTER resource!
A PELMANISM GAME with 18 Christmas themed images.
The set I have made includes 4 of each image. So 72 cards in total.
These can be set out in various configurations
2x36, 3x24, 4x18, 6x12, 8x9 for game play
However you will need at least 2 copies of each image you use to make smaller sets
PRINTING
I have printed them back-to-back on 300gsm A4 card. (but paper will do if you are going to stick them on something else to act as a card back) So you have 9 cards on one side and the card backs on the other. Check your printer settings. Print one side, put the sheet back in the printer the opposite way around and print the card back page.
CUTTING OUT
I cut them out from the image side, a fraction inside the image design. In this way you should get an even border on the card back side if they have lined up correctly.
I have also use a craft corner cutter 4mm , to round off the card corners and put them in plastic cards sleeves to help preserve them and a box to put them in.
See IMAGES of my SET
A follow on from my ‘SET A’ worksheet where students have to use Pythagoras’ Theorem to find the missing side in a right-angled triangle give two of the sides.
Separate worksheets or one double-sided. 11 questions with Some scaffolding + ANSWERS
