A revision PowerPoint detailing the components of Stopping Distance and which factors can affect them. It moves onto F=ma theory and calculating braking distances for Higher students. Questions follow all with answers.
A revision PowerPoint for students to go through step by step to understand how to draw Sankey diagrams, how energy flows and how to use the Energy Efficiency equation.
Questions with worked through answers at the end too.
This is for three resources all about Morse Code and Communications.
It includes:
1. An Introduction to WW1 where students watch a quick PowerPoint slideshow showing images of WW1 with emotive music. Students are asked how they feel about what they see. (SMSC link).
2. Communications through the ages PowerPoint where students see pictures and have to think of ways they could have communicated. They are then introduced to Morse Code. A worksheet is completed which is included within the PowerPoint. Students are then put into a WW1 situation and have to solve a problem.
3, My colour coded lesson plan.
My lesson was graded as Oustanding in almost all areas. Student participation was exceptional and it really captivated them.
Let me know what you think!
This is for two resources. A PowerPoint covering what energy loss is and an activity about insulatig a spacesuit. A photo-sheet compliments the practical.
This bundle is for two resources. A PowerPoint presentation covering how hydroelectricty, wave and tidal systems work and generate electricity. Questions and answers are contained within. An activity utilising this knoweldge follows.
This resource is for a set of Prove-It cards I use in lessons. They compliment the precise learning aspect I build into lessons.
The idea is that these are give to students on entry to the classroom. At the end of the lesson they need to be able to prove they have answered the questions. These relate to the lesson objectives and tasks within a lesson so they summarise the lesson well.
Could be used as a plenary or during consolidation lessons within a scheme of work.
10 Powerpoints covering P5a(i) through to P5d(ii). Includes everything on the syllabus.
Covers:
P5a(i and ii) Satellites, Gravity and Circular Motion
P5 b(i and ii) Vectors and Equations of Motion
P5c (i and ii) Projectile Motion
P5d (i and ii) Action and Reaction
Really good revision aid.
I printed these out with four slides to one A4 and made a set of cards for students to use for revision.
This is for two resources, a PowerPoint to help you teach and a photo-sheet for students when they do their practical. You should use the AQA Physics sheet with practical. E-mail me and I can provide you a link or a copy of it.
This bundle is for three resources including a PowerPoint presentation about specific heat capacity and questions and answers and a practical. This prepares students for the SHC practical in the next unit. Also includes a card sort with calculations and a photo-sheet complimenting the practical.
This is for 20 APP resources that cover areas about investigations, plotting graphs, analysing data and risk assessing.
They cover Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9. They are all practical based activities (either experiment or using data) and they each take a whole lesson.
Print them out on A3 yellow paper so you can easily locate them in student's books.
Each APP task is write in boxes on one side. Other side is success criteria, teacher and student somment boxes. Very easy to mark, just highlight the criteria students attained.
Year 7:
Graph Drawing Sycamore Seeds
Trends and Patterns Titanic Density
Risk Assessment of Neutralisation
Plan Separation Techniques
Secindary Sources for Frictional Forces
Tabulating Data of Light Intensity
Year 8:
Why do People Smoke SMSC
How Much Fat Is In a Crisp Tabulate Data
What's So Special About Alkali Metals Trends and Patterns

I designed these so they could be used to prepare students for the skills needed at GCSE. Our department made them a priority.
This is for two resources:
1. A PowerPoint presentation containing 15 circuit symbols, definitions of charge and current and a nice practical. Lots of questions, with answers, are within.
2. A homework task with questions consolidating the lesson.
This bundle is for five resources. A PowerPoint presentation covering Power and calcualtions including questions and answers. Two question worksheets included. A power practical and a photo-sheet complimenting the practical.
This is for two resources: a PowerPoint presentation all about kinetic energy and a practical and a photo-sheet for students to stick in their picture.
This set comprises of eight PowerPoints covering the difficult parts of P6. I used and will continue to use this year these PowerPoints until the change over. Lots of questions and answers within with very clear explanations and diagrams. Include differentiated lesson objectives as expected.
Diode and Half Way Rectification
Full Wave Rectification

This is for two resources. A PowerPoint presentation covering how wind, solar and geothermal energy are used. Questions and answers are contained within. An activity about satellites follows.
I made this lesson after teaching microscopy, fingerprint analysis, chromatography and density to Year 7. I linked it with Jack the Ripper and the students had to justify who the culprit was. Great fun and helped me to get an Outstanding lesson observation. Let me know what you think!
