Description
These 28 digital task cards on the BOOM Learning℠ website are differentiated with 3 levels and cover using bar model diagrams to solve ratio problems when a ratio and the value of the whole are given. Students are asked to divide an amount in a ratio supported by bar models, work with 3 part ratios and larger numbers, compare ratios and solve problems with multiple ratios.
Answers are multiple choice, fill in the blank and drag and drop. . These cards use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems. Differentiated task cards are great because students start with the easiest questions then move to more challenging questions as they gain proficiency. They would be great on a mobile phone laptop, desktop, Chromebook, tablet, or any other mobile device that can access the internet. They can even be used on your Smart Board. Here’s the best part - they are self-correcting and allow you to track student progress. Plus, they’re no prep which means no printing, laminating, or storage.
