I like to use this differentiated question sheets as a starting point in lessons to recap topics already covered as it easily picks up misconceptions, then again as a plenary or mini-plenary. The questions can also be used as a homework sheet. Having the answers also reduces workload as students can self-mark.

GCSE Foundation Maths/Functional Skills. 12 number problem solving questions that learners answer on a clock face. I set a timer of 30 minutes for the activity, learners have to complete their revision clocks in that time limit. I print the questions out of A4 paper and the blank clocks out on A3 paper. The learners pair up and answer the questions. Works well for revision. Clock Template included.
