The can use number effectively in different contexts and understand how to interpret data and apply mathematical concepts. MATHS: I can estimate capacity, mass, temperature and time using appropriate standard units. I can collect different types of data to answer questions that may have been posed. I can represent information by creating a variety of appropriate charts SCITECH: I can explore how the motion of objects can be affected by applying specific forces. I can use a variety of simple model to describe the forces acting on an object.

Newtons Law Wordsearches

3 wordsearches with answers to support the learning of Newtons Laws. I created these for my lower ability to allow them to get a positive experience for learning and as they found the words I would ask what each meant. This way you can understand and know what they have learnt verbally even if they cann’t write it down. Can also be used for cover work where learners find the word then write an explanation of it down - good for gifted and talented. Could be used as a starter when introducing the topic or if you have a difficult class that you want to settle quickly.

#How to make a results table

Uses the car and ramp physics experiment to show step by step how to create a results table. I used it in my classroom as an aide after explaining how to create it. I left it on the board so that slower learners could still complete the task by themselves.
