As a concept it is relatively explain but these sheets allow the calculations to be seen as a visual representation and a numerical output. The learners are encourages to complete the missing values and calculate the percentage waste. The formula is printed on the bottom of the page. Each sheet is printed 2 on an A4 to reduce waste.

The blank sheet is for higher learners, the part completed is for middle ability and the completed sheet is for lower level learners to copy or cut and paste.
