This is a comprehensive and detailed revision powerpoint for the topic ‘Weather & Energy’ in A Level Geography. It contains 47 slides explaining all of the topics on the specification for WJEC A Level Geography but it can be easily adapted for other exam boards. This would be very useful for teaching in the lead up to the exam or as an independent resource for students’ revision. I created it in preparation for my exam and achieved an A*. It also includes relevant case studies, including on weather and climate in the UK (air masses, high and low pressure systems) and beyond (the ITCZ, climate change,Hurricane Katrina), and energy (demand, production, distribution, sustainability and energy mixes).

The 54 slides display information in a variety of formats that makes it easy to understand. I followed the specification closely and used this as revision for my exam and achieved an A*.

It was designed for WJEC Geography AS Level but could be adapted to any exam board. It would be an excellent resource to cover a few lessons before the exam or for students as an independent resource. I created it to revise for my exam and achieved an A (maximum grade at AS).
