Part of a series to prepare students for the BTEC IT Unit 6 Assignment B&C, based on the knowledge I’ve built up running the course This unit of work uses RocketCake in order for students to produce their website, however lessons some of the practical lessons may also be useful if other methods of website production are being used This lesson aims to teach students about how to create a master page (template) and then the homepage of a website whilst getting students used to the RocketCake interface and a few of the tools in the toolset This lesson includes: demonstration (with videos/animations) and then a task for them to practice plus a tick sheet to ensure they have complete all the sub-tasks Challenge built into some of the slides/tasks Not all parts of the resource are shown in previews
