In this unit, there are four weeks of Year 2 English planning around the theme of Africa. This includes traditional tales (Little Red Riding Hood and Little Red and the Hungry Lion), poetry and non-fiction. There are WAGOLLS and resources available in the pack.

In this unit, there is two weeks worth of planning and resources building up to writing adventure stories linked to the journey of a cocoa bean which would link well to a Mayans or chocolate topic in Year 3 or 4. It includes a WAGOLL that tells the journey of maize as an example.
