In this unit, there are three weeks of Year 2 English planning based on the topic of the Great Fire of London. The book it uses is ‘Vlad and the Great Fire of London’ and includes diary entries and newspapers.

In this pack, includes eight weeks worth of English planning linked to the Romans. There is not written planning other than learning objectives, but the slides are used as planning instead. For this unit, I used a lot of ideas and research from The Writing Revolution by Judith C. Hochman.
