I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

Graphical Transformations - Exponentials

(1)
This is a pair of PDFs on the transformation of the exponential graphs. The first PDF gives you 12 graphs of the exponential graph and requests the student to draw 12 transformations - answers are provided. The second PDF gives you the same 12 graphs and asks you to identify the transformations. These questions took an age to draw and will save you so much time in preparation. Applications of Differentiation 1 & 2

2 Resources
This is a large number of questions covering all the applications of differentiation that any student will need for A level. **Applications 1 ** This is a pdf consisting of 25 assorted questions on the applications of differentiation. All the algebra can be reduced to polynomials only. These problems range in difficulty and some are quite challenging - definitely good for revision or, as I have used it, to finish off differentiation at the end of year 12. Applications 2 This PDF consists of over 20 questions on the applications of differentiation These questions are aimed at revision in year 13. Questions assume knowledge of all the basic differentials along with product / quotient and chain rules. Applications include: Gradient of a curve Tangents and normals Turning points Maxima and minima problems Rates of change Related rates of change. Answers are included as usual.

Differentiation Of Products + Answers

This is two very comprehensive worksheets covering all that you will need to teach and revise the differentiation of a product. This PDFs consists of around 30 questions each on differentiation of a product - sometimes including the chain rule too. Q1 - 10 (35 questions) covers differentiation of products using only polynomials, logs and exponentials - I used this teach the product rule. Q1 is over twenty functions to differentiate. Q2 - 9 cover the application of differentiation of products - gradient, tangents, normals and increasing functions The second sheet I used for more able students or those wanting revision practice at a later stage - some of these get quite tricky. Q11 another twenty function though I now include trigonometry and reciprocal trig functions. Q12 - 19 much harder applications. Answers are included Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you

An excellent worksheet covering everything that you may need up to grade 8 on solving factorisable quadratics. The fist 26 questions are already factorised and simply require the final step to achieve the solutions. The second 26 questions need to be factorised first but are limited to the case of a=1. The third 26 questions need to be rearranged or expanded and then rearranged before factorisation. Answers are included and have been checked independently.
