Demonstrates through interactive activities and questioning how to calculate empirical formula (appears at both tiers of demand) of an ionic compound. Its tricky to get your head around if you haven't come across this before, and I trust that the activities on the presentation support staff and pupils of all abilities. Could also be supported in your lessons by gathering 8 boxes... (Calculation error on slide 21 now corrected!)
