A unit of work based around writing a balanced argument - Should junk food be banned?
This resource includes an engaging set of activities which has been tried and tested in the classroom in upper KS2, but could be used with other age groups. Downloading these activities will drastically cut your preparation time.
A video clip, worksheets, vocabulary lists, presentations, model text and sample success criteria (WMG) is included to get you started.
This first PowerPoint is a great way to introduce the history, life and times of the 1960's.
The second is a 'Guess Who' activity which encourages further research.
