Engage your youngsters in counting in multiples of ten with these fun task cards, supporting the math curriculum for Year 1 and Kindergarten aged children. There are 18 cards in the set with a different picture image, representing a multiple of ten for you to download. Children count the number of objects and choose the correct answer from the multiple choice selection. This can be done by using small pegs so they can clip the answer if you’re wanting a ‘no writing’ activity, or if the cards are laminated, they could use a dry wipe pen to circle the correct answer.
These flashcards are so simple yet versatile and could be used as a warm up activity, small group work, math centers, interventions and homeschooling. If you’d rather use them as a worksheet, then simply print the pdf to glue into notebooks.
However you choose to use them, your little learners will certainly develop confidence in counting in multiples of ten from 10 to 100 and keep them on track for applying such knowledge as they progress through the math curriculum.
Draw each digital time on the analogue clock to support knowledge and understanding of telling time with these versatile task cards designed for children. This printable resource is ideal to support the teaching and learning of time in both key stage 2 and elementary math curriculums.
Once children are confident with matching digital and analogue times, they can then progress to calculate time durations using the same resource, building in experience of the 12 and 24 hour clock.
Included in the download is a coloured template to use as task cards, a black and white version to photocopy and use for workbooks and 30 digital times, using both 12 and 24 hour clocks. You then have the freedom to print and make as many task cards and digital time cards as you need. Once they’re laminated, students can write on them with a dry wipe pen then erase so they can be used over and over again.
These would be ideal to use as math centers, small group activities, partner work, interventions and in your homeschool environment.

These 1 more and 1 less cards are a fun way to help young learners secure sequencing, addition and subtraction of numbers to 50, which is essential for early math development. In line with the math curriculum delivered in schools, the 30 cards included in this download (pdf) show a picture representation of base ten, ten frames and bead materials, encouraging children to count the amount then identify 1 more and 1 less.
The cards are completely versatile and can be printed and laminated to use as lesson starters, math centers, small group activities and interventions. Children can write on them using a dry wipe pen before erasing and moving into another. Alternatively, you could print them on paper to use as a worksheet instead, to be glued into workbooks or place on your math working wall/bulletin board.

Learning about fractions can be a tricky concept for students, especially if they aren’t secure with multiplication and division facts. These fraction task cards are designed to support learners in finding unit fractions of amounts and then progressing to non unit fractions of amounts, using concrete materials to help with calculations.
There are 9 coloured and 9 black and white A4 task cards to download (pdf) giving you the freedom to laminate and create math centers or use individually for work books and working walls. The fraction cards do from ½ up to 10/10 There are also 30 amount cards and a directions card in the lack.
Using a range of everyday classroom objects such as, cubes, buttons, counters, Pom poms, Lego bricks etc, children gather the materials to match the amount on their card. They then split them equally according to the denominator on their task card. Once they’ve completed this, they will then be able to recognise, count and calculate non unit fractions of the amount. This is a great way to support learners who are still struggling with multiplication and division tasks.
One way I’d use these in my classroom is to then take photographs of the completed task cards to create a valuable and meaningful fraction working wall.
These would be ideal as differentiated tasks, early finishing tasks, small group support, individual investigation, interventions and as a whole class demonstration (enlarge to A3) or homeschooling. It’s a versatile resource to help youngsters become more confident and successful in grasping fractions!
Are you looking for fun resources with repeated addition and multiplication equations for your second grade learners? These quality arrays task cards focus on the 2x, 5x, 10x, 3x and 4x multiplication tables and representations as arrays. They are ideal for both the US and UK Math Curriculum to cover expected standards.
Children can often struggle with the concept and need plenty of practice. There are 20 no prep activity cards prompting students to look at each array and identify the matching repeated addition equation and multiplication equation that describes the array. Learners can then clip the answers on each card with pegs or paper clips for interventions, small group work and math centers, or they can record both equations in their notebook so they can see how repeated addition and multiplications can represent the same value.
The best thing is, once completed, students can use the included answer cards to peer or self assess answers, identifying misconceptions or receiving instant praise, knowing they’ve secured their knowledge and understanding.
There are 4 cards per A4 page (pdf download). For extra durability I’d suggest printing into card stock then laminating so they can be used as often as needed. They would be great for classroom and homeschool math lessons as centers, support and interventions.
Whilst these have been designed with second grade learners in mind, there’s scope to include them in 3rd and 4th grade too depending on prior learning and need for understanding. This would equate to Y3 and Y4 UK curriculum.

These high quality addition and subtraction task cards provide a great opportunity for students to apply their knowledge solving problems with a bar model representation. There are 20 no prep cards within the set, consisting of a mixture of two digit and three digit numbers, all set within a cute Winter theme.
The problems have been designed with the second grade curriculum in mind (or Year 3 UK) and contain word problems with a bar model representation. Bar models are often included in assessment materials and can prove to be a difficult concept for some learners.
