Prendre - Apprendre - Comprendre - Surprendre - Reprendre - Dice Game - 6 Tenses This easy to play 30 minute dice game is a fun way to practice the irregular French verbs PRENDRE - APPRENDRE - COMPRENDRE - SURPRENDRE - REPRENDRE in 6 different tenses (one game per tense with answer key is provided): - present tense - passé composé - imperfect - futur simple - conditional - present subjunctive These five verbs are essential and often difficult for students to memorize since they're irregular, so I like to provide many different activities to keep it fun and fresh. You can start using this dice game with your beginner students and continue to use it to review these verbs as you teach new tenses. My high school students love this dice game, and it can get very competitive if you decide to play it as a race (details are explained with the activity). Students divide up into teams and play a dice game, the dice determining which subject and infinitive to conjugate in the indicated tense. Included with this activity: How to play Six different versions of the game with answers Student response and scoring sheet LICENSING TERMS: This purchase includes a license for one teacher only for personal use in their classroom.
