This contains some key information about fetal development that can be used for a variety of activities. I gave each pupil a 'stage&' for which they created a poster, and then presented to the class. The information could also be used to create tables or be put in order like a card-sort. All the images and information are just stolen off the internet and just collated- no credit taken.

Two similar worksheets of different levels. Pupils complete each diagram by adding the egg / lining in the correct place and either use the sentence starters or write a paragraph about each stage in the cycle.

Pupils are given a card each (half the class predators and half the class prey) and asked to design their own made-up animal with as many adaptations as possible. Once complete, the pupils are then able to walk around the class and have a 'pokemon-style&' battle with the opposite type animal; comparing features to decide who would win... Would the predator manage to kill the prey or would the prey get away?!
