This lesson is the first of six lessons introducing print-making (preferably for upper KS2). I have created this scheme using skills that I have acquired over the years, training in Print-making throughout my Fine Art degree and teaching Art and Design to KS2 for over 5 years. This is a really fun interactive display, which has synonym ‘fries’ within take-away style packaging. My English Working Wall display has synonym store, which has **10 high frequency **words and its synonyms. All of the synonyms are in the form of fries, which pupils can use when they are editing their creative writing. This resources works alongside my ‘mini thesaurus’ resources, however these are more interactive and fun. They have definitely made my pupils more interested in vocab! I bought some cheap craft cardboard chip packages to place my synonym fries in. The text is cursive and written in mayo and ketchup colours! There are 119 synonym fries in total - providing my quick Maths is correct! Note: I use the synonym fries (small) for my display. I hope you and your pupils enjoy!
