Two powerpoints, plus worksheets to last 2-4 lessons which cover the external factors affecting social class achievment wihtin schools. The lessons are based on bronze, silver, gold activities with student led demonstration. They are best taught when the students have pre-read the chapter and come to the lesson with a small level of understanding. This will enable more time to deeper explanation on more exam practice.

The lesson works through key hints and tips for completing the paper, along with model paragraphs and annotations on the items. Lesson with multiple activities using contemporary resources. Can be used to introduce feminism to year 12s, or adapted for theory and methods and feminism and crime. Set out with differentiated questions to answer, using videos, articles and challenge activities.

Complete lessons (24 presentations) with resources and worksheets. Each lesson follows a 3-part lesson plan including a ‘do now’/starter activity, a student focused demonstration task. The lessons are based on the students reading around the subject prior to attending the lesson. Additional pre-reading sheets can be found on my site. Activities are created using a bronze, silver, gold layout which will enable students to push themselves and teacher to differentiate effectively in the classroom. The lesson is based around a teacher-designed 10marker; Outline and explain two ways in which divorce rates have affected family life? Slides with two model paragraphs and an opportunity for pupils to create their own paragraphs, and/or edit the model. The slides also talk about structure for an O&E question with an emphasis on the IMPACT in the analysis section. Could be used for revision or during teaching of divorce rates and changing family patterns.

Hints and tips for writing a 30mark essay including an essay planning sheet. Resource should be used to teach students how to structure an essay- using PERC structure however can easily be changed to PEEL or similar. Students can practice writing developed evaluation as well as planning an essay. Essay plans should not be written in full sentences and ideally use a variety of textbooks to collate the relevant information.
