Year 4 Decimals WR Summer Block 1 Lesson Slides
A full set of lesson slides that cover each small step for Year 4 Summer Block 1 - Decimals.
There are 121 slides over the six small steps that cover the objectives in a range of ways and show different examples. With discussion, there are enough slides for each objective to last at least two lessons.
Year 3 Calculating Perimeter Lesson
A double lesson that focuses on being able to calculate perimeter with Year 3. included in the PowerPoint are arithmetic starters for each lesson that recap key calculation skills as well as the lesson itself. Also included is an activity sheet that runs over the duration with answers included as well as challenge activities for those who finish with answers also included.
Year 5 Place Value - Comparing and Ordering Numbers
A double lesson that focuses on place value and being able to compare and order numbers. Included is a double lesson PowerPoint that includes arithmetic starters (easily adapted for the second lesson based on any issues in the first lesson) an activity that runs through the two lessons and answer sheets and five ‘challenge’ activities for children that finish to extend their understanding.

A lesson based on rounding to the nearest 10 for Year 4. Included is the PowerPoint which includes an arithmetic starter, blank number lines, an activity that comes with answers and three reasoning and problem solving questions.

Four lessons for Year 6 that focus on rounding, working up from 10 and 100 up to 1,000,000 including a final lesson that focuses on all aspects of rounding. Each lesson includes the lesson PowerPoint with an arithmetic starter, an activity booklet that follows the guided practice before having independent activities and lesson activity as well as problem solving and reasoning questions. Answers are also included.
There is also an additional sheet that can be used as homework or as a recap activity for rounding.
