Year 6 SAT's Prep Question Cards - Arithmetic
All of the arithmetic questions from the 2017 paper that can be cut out as simple question cards for children to practise. This provides a different way of practising key areas of the arithmetic paper rather than just giving children a practise paper.
3 Times Table Mastery Check
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 3 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 3 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
KS2 Maths SATs Place Value Questions
Examples of place value questions taken from the reasoning papers for 2017, 2018 and 2019 that can be used to check understanding of place value/ give children examples from a test context.
3-digit Subtraction Worksheet (No exchanging)
A worksheet that provides a variety of questions linked to being able to subtract a 3-digit number from another 3-digit number where there is no exchange/ renaming required.
Included as part of the worksheet are 9 different questions that provide variation to check understanding through the use of different models, representations and question styles. This includes trying to get pupils to identify links and patterns to support their answers.
Answers are also included for all questions.
Can easily be used as a worksheet when teaching the objective or used for recap/ revision or even to be sent home as homework.

A lesson presentation that has been made for Year 6 to work on mental multiplication though this is easily adaptable for other year groups. The focus is on three different ways to be able to mentally multiply.

Algebra - Variables (Year 6 WRM)
A PowerPoint lesson that focuses on the objective of variables from the Year 6 WRM planning. There is an arithmetic starter included as well as a number of questions to work through (including pink and green bubbles for support and challenge) where answers can then be discussed. Finally, reasoning and problem solving tasks from WRM are included.
