The Night Bus Hero Reading Comprehension (Chapters 19, 20 and 21)
Three reading comprehension activities linked to chapters nineteen, twenty and twenty-one of The Night Bus Hero. Each chapter has a comprehension activity that includes 20 questions that work on different skills as well as also having the answers included separately.

Year 5 Four Operations - 2-digit Written Multiplication Lessons (x4)
Two double lessons that focus on introducing and securing the concept of multiplying by a 2-digit number using a written method.
The first double lesson focuses on being able to multiply 3-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers before moving on in the next set of double lessons to multiplying 4-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers. In both double lessons and activities, there is work practising multiplying by a 1-digit number and then using that same 1-digit number as part of a 2-digit number to support the transition and understanding.
Included in both sets of double lessons are a double lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter for each lesson, key vocabulary, discussion points and practices. There is then an activity that includes an answer sheet and challenge questions for anyone that finishes with answers again included.
A multiplication grid is also included to support where necessary.
Asia Geography Lesson
A lesson that focuses on being able to introduce Asia.
Included in the lesson is:
A lesson presentation that includes a map of Asia to discuss as well as some information to introduce the continent with some extra detail. This is finished off with some true or false questions.
A recap task (this lesson is the sixth in a sequence having focused on continents, oceans, the Americas, Africa and Europe) which can be used or ignored as the lesson can stand alone. An answer sheet is also included for the recap task.
An independent activity that includes labelling Asia on a map of the world, completing true or false questions linked to the continent and identifying numbered countries on a map of Asia. There is also a challenge question to extend understanding. An answer sheet is also included for this alongside a support sheet with a map of Asia.
United Kingdom and Great Britain Geography Lessons
Two fully-resourced lessons that focus on introducing or recapping the geography of the United Kingdom and Great Britain.
The first lesson focuses on looking at the difference between Great Britain and the United Kingdom as well as then being able to locate and identify the countries on a world map. This is followed up with identifying the U.K on a world map as well as identifying the countries as separate outlines. Included is a lesson presentation with modeling and discussion as well as an independent activity that includes an answer sheet.
The second lesson focuses on recapping the first lesson as well as then identifying the capital cities of the four countries and the sea and oceans surrounding the United Kingdom. Included is a lesson presentation that provides the chance to model and discuss, a recap task linked to the previous lesson to support retention of learning and independent activities linked to the learning. An answer sheet is included for both the recap task and independent activities.
Year 5 Perimeter - Measuring and Calculating (4 Lessons)
Four lessons that focus on being able to work with perimeter in Year 5 with lessons set out as two double lessons.
The first double lesson focuses on being able to measure shapes and calculate the perimeter of rectangles and squares where a ruler has been provided to measure the shapes.
The second double lesson then follows up by focusing on being able to calculate the perimeter of different shapes, using the information provided or what children already know about the property of shapes.
Each double lesson includes:
A double lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter for each lesson, key vocabulary, modelling and discussion points as well as guided practice before moving on to independent activities.
An independent activity that applies what children have learnt during the teaching part of the lesson. An answer sheet is included for the activity and there are challenge activities for children that finish which also include answers. The activity and challenges run over both lessons as it is expected that there may be more time teaching and talking in the first lesson before having more time to practise in the second lesson. However, everything is uploaded in PPT format so can be easily edited to suit.

A fully-resourced lesson that focuses on being able to punctuate sentences accurately using full stops, exclamation marks and question marks as well as making sure they have capital letters, both at the start and for names.
Included is a lesson presentation that includes discussion points, examples and practice questions which is then supported with an independent activity to apply what has been learnt and a challenge to apply this to their own sentences. An answer sheet is also included for the independent activity.

The Firework-Maker's Daughter - Chapter Five
60 different questions for Chapter Five of The Firework-Maker's Daughter by Philip Pullman that test a range of skills. These can be used for guided reading sessions or to give children as activities to support guided reading sessions/ whole class reading comprehensions. The questions follow the order of the chapter but don't have answers attached as the answers can vary depending on the child's opinion.

Four fully resourced lessons that focuses on being able to convert between various measurements from mm to cm up to g and kg. The lesson presentations focus on a range of questions and building understanding as well as guided practise questions for children to practise what they are learning. Year 5 Written Multiplication and Division Unit of Work
A 15 lesson unit of work that focuses on being able to complete written multiplication and division.
Included in the 15 lesson sequence is:
Lesson 1 - 3-digit by 1-digit multiplication
Lesson 2 and 3 - 4-digit by 1-digit multiplication
Lesson 4 and 5 - 3-digit by 2-digit multiplication
Lesson 6 and 7 - 4-digit by 2-digit multiplication
Lesson 8 and 9 - 3-digit divided by 1-digit
Lesson 10 and 11 - 4-digit divided by 1-digit
Lesson 12, 13, 14 and 15 - Using written division and applying remainders to the context
Within the lessons, small steps are applied when appropriate such as doing a 4-digit x 1-digit before then doing the same 4-digit number by a 2-digit number that includes the previous 1-digit number.
Most lessons come in double lessons. bar lesson one. Each double lesson includes a double lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter for every lesson, key vocabulary, modelling, discussion and practice before moving onto an independent activity and challenge tasks that stretch over the two lessons. Answer sheets are included for all independent activities and challenge tasks.
The single lesson at the start has all the same features but only has a single lesson PowerPoint.
Also included within each lesson pack is a multiplication square should it be needed for support.
Year 3 Plants - Parts of a Flower Lesson
A lesson aimed at the Year 3 Science unit of Plants. This lesson is the fourth lesson of a sequence, looking at the different parts of a flower. The lesson presentation includes a recap from a previous lesson (can easily be omitted if you want this lesson as a one off) before then looking at the parts of a flower and the different roles they have.
This is then followed by an independent activity that requires children to apply what has been discussed by labelling the parts of a flower and matching parts of a flower to a description of what they do. This is then followed by a challenge question to provide the chance to reason. An answer sheet and support sheet are also included.
There is also a copy of the recap task included.
Countries and Continents Geography Lesson
A lesson that focuses on being able to look at different countries and the continent they are part of.
Included in the lesson is:
A lesson presentation that includes a world map to discuss as well as some questions about which continent different countries are in.
A recap task (this lesson is the eighth in a sequence having focused on continents, oceans, the Americas, Africa, Asia, Australia, Antarctica and Europe) which can be used or ignored as the lesson can stand alone. An answer sheet is also included for the recap task.
An independent activity that includes finding countries for different continents and naming which continent certain countries are in. There is also a challenge question to extend understanding as well as a task to find the capital city of different countries. An answer sheet is also included for this alongside a world map to support.
Tens and Ones
A presentation with 200 different questions that can be used when working on tens and ones.
These can be used either as questions to do as a class or to print and get children to work through at different points.
Within the presentation, there are representations using Base 10, numerical representations and sentences. This includes saying how many tens and ones there are before saying what the number is, looking at the whole number to say how many tens and ones there are and saying what a missing value is, both with tens and ones and other partitions e.g. 92 = 50 and 42.
Simple Sentences and Word Classes
Three differentiated worksheets that focus on simple sentences and being able to identify different word classes such as nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. This then moves on to getting children to explain what is wrong with simple sentences before higher attainers check a passage to see if it follows the subject and predicate relationship before explaining why authors and writers wouldn't stick to just that.
