There is a wide range of activities (translation, reading comprehension, fill in gaps…). This work is aimed at a high-ability group. It can be used as a revision booklet or as cover work (as the answers are provided, students can mark their own work). Alternatively, each worksheet can be used independently to cover one of the following topics: • Mon album de famille • Les verbes en –er (regular verbs in the present tense) • Au boulot ! PowerPoint divided into 3 parts. « Qui suis-je ? » tests students’ vocabulary knowledge. If needed, you can go through the 20 terms beforehand (list included). In Part 2, students have to finish sentences (multiple choice) about Christmas in France and French speaking countries (traditions, facts). Part 3: answer the questions in French. As the answers are provided, students can mark their work as they go along. One of the aims of this quiz is for students to work out the meaning of each clue/question. I believe this work would suit years 8 and 9 but would also be fun for KS4 students. 40 points overall (20 for part 1, parts 2 and 3: 10 points each)
