A Christmas resource for EYFS and KS1 linked to 2D shapes. The first sheet shows an array of Xmas Shape characters that all live in a fictional Shape Land. Children will enjoy naming the shapes and colouring them in. Sheet 2 is a counting and sorting sheet. Children find e.g. all the diamond characters, colour them in and count them etc. Other shapes include stars, ovals, rectangles, squares and hearts. Sheet 3 is simple shape drawings for children to begin to experiment with making their own shape characters. Sheet 4 is a rhyming story called ‘In Shape Land’ with space for children to illustrate the story.

These colouring sheets may inspire your children to design their own wrapping paper sheets for Christmas. Enlarge and they are lovely painted or use as place mats once the children have coloured them in.

A fun, birthday-themed resource designed for EYFS and KS1 that supports early number recognition and ordering to 6. Page 1: Features characters with 1–6 cakes with candles in both colour and black-and-white, allowing children to colour and match. Page 2: Six character / cakes images to cut, order, and colour, focusing on sequencing. Page 3: Numerals 1–6 to cut out and arrange in the correct order. These can be matched to the cakes and characters. Page 4: Number words (one to six) to cut and sequence. Page 5: Numeral tracing practice, with numerals to cut and put in sequence.

10 cards to make for the new year 2025. Print onto thin card, cut and fold and write a message or motivational phrase inside e.g. ‘Hello 2025’ or ‘A New Chapter’. Children could use the cards as inpiration for their own designs and / or add to the cards presented with collage, stickers, glitter or drawings.
