Pack includes a revision sheet for the students, an assessment (30 marks total), answer sheet and a test grade conversion chart based on the 9-1 grading system. Assessment, answers and conversions are all Microsoft publisher documents.

Students are presented with research on the technique of Tie Dye and also introduced to tie dye from around the world.

Students understand the concept of hand embroidery and the origins of the technique as well as linking to other curriculum areas such as Geography and History. Can be used with links to literacy as it can be read out loud independently by the students and can develop deeper classroom discussions.

Used in Art to support key stage 3 in learning the basics of the colour wheel. Students have the opportunity to read out loud in lesson supporting literacy and also use it as an aid whilst working independently.

Students learn about oil pastels and how they are used in Art. Used as a great opportunity for students to read out loud from in lesson.

Based on the theme Day of the Dead cover work for key stage 3. Two worksheets based around skulls and guitars. Students can work independently from the inspiration sheets provided. Skills include composition and tonal shading/blending.

Attached is a worksheet task and an extension activity where the students are to show their inspiration based on the works of Thaneeya MCardle. It is based on the day of the dead theme.

Can be easily adapted to include more textiles equipment. Currently have them up on display in my classroom and are proving effective in the students remembering the correct terminology.
