A great opportunity for a creative American homework relating to Geography ! Used for Year 6 however would fit any year group to be honest particularly in Key Stage 2 with a little editing ! My Year 6`s loved it as they were able to be creative without just boring sheets and books !

A creative homework sheet for the topic of The Tudors ! Ideal for project based and the children loved the presentation show and tell style I used with it ! Great for all year groups really although better for years 3/4 and 5 !
A year 5 rounding off lesson - Ideal to introduce the topic to the class - can be adapted to any year group though and can be used as you see fit in regard to the starter or end of the lesson - Really got the class thinking about the concept of rounding off - Would be also good to teach to a mixed age class to revise and or further their work and consolidate learning.
A great resource that my colleague and I completed over a 1/2 term in the afternoon lessons to build a car out of wood and plastic - wheels parts etc we bought off EBay and YPO catalog for the children who completed one between 2 - this used their maths skills, construction skills and science forces skills as they have to build an elastic band powered car that would hold a 1kg weight and travel down the school corridor - It went really well as a project that we ran for 2 different year groups.
This would work for early secondary school DT also and is a great cross curricular lesson and activity - any questions do ask away !
North America Compass Geography lesson ideal for Year 3 and 4 and is suitable for SEN children - clear and concise steps on how to use a compass in order to complete the activity within the powerpoint - ideal stand alone lesson ! Would work very well with a mixed aged class e.g 3 and 4 or 3,4,5 and 6 !
Book and character work in this regard - ideal for either a guided reading session or English themed work for a few days - pictures and text all there and activities within the Powerpoint - feel free to use as you wish - my year 5 class loved it and we did a mixture of work within this as necessary ! A great Powerpoint to work on chunking in relation to estimating ! A warm up on the first few slides revision and work on division followed by coloured slides challenges that get harder and a plenary to focus on at the end of the lesson to see how the children have gone on ! Fractional part lesson within the powerpoint with a good starter attached to do with money and value followed by explaining the fractional part and its uses generally also accompaying worksheets with short activities on - I have done this with years 4,5 and 6 and has worked very well ! The SLT liked the progression of the lesson and activity also - any queries do message !!

Complete lesson on re telling a section of the Stone Age Boy story with an example we discussed in class - this is then levelled off into yellow blue or red sections and can be differetated accordingly - A great lesson with not that long on the carpet ! I have used this for year 3 and 4 now and each time the lesson has gone really well with the kids producing some great writing following the story ! I hope it is of use to you and can be adapted to suit your class !!
Sword in the stone reading and writing comprehension ideal for KS2 particulary mixed aged class ( mine!) this activity/lesson went really well to improve reading skills !
Different children read different parts then we discussed key words and phrases - then all of the children completed the attached activties within this Powerpoint identifying word classes intially to improve SPAG skills then developing their reading comprehensive skills with some inference also - Headteacher walked in mid lesson and really liked what she saw !
