This resource contains a free set of three differentiated worksheets based on using addition and subtraction with word problems. I created this for a Year 3 class but it could easily be used for other age groups. This resource is to give you an idea of what the rest of my word problem resources are like which are for sale. Before getting children to complete group work activities, it’s important that they know how to work well as a team. I handed out these cards to groups of 3 children and got them to act out the scenario. We then used freeze frame and circle time discussions to talk about how to work well as a team. Hope you enjoy! This is a year long set of exercises I gave to a Year 3 class in the UK. It gets the children to practice difficult joined letter formations. First they practice the letters, than words with the letter form and finally in complete sentences. Each document contains around four tasks. I used this as a task for a guided reading rotation and got the children to practice their handwriting in a handwriting book.
