Three lessons and coursework structure covering the health models section of unit 10. Power points include short model examples of coursework. The coursework structure has clear sections demonstrating the different criteria to students.

This is a set of three lessons that have been created to be used for video call teaching rather than in the classroom during school closures. The lessons are less interactive and give more time for teacher talk so that they can be taught over Teams/ Zoom etc. The lessons include a takeaway/ homework task in each. Other factors will be covered in subsequent booklets to reduce cognitive load. I have also found that students prefer a smaller booklet. This is a bundle of documents to do the role play assignment for learning aim B, component 2. These are based on two role play scenarios where the case studies are included. If you have bought my learning Aim A resources it follows on from the assignment there but can be used without doing the previous two clients. Included is a structured writing frame for you to provide feedback and a comment bank to speed the process up. Each value has a role play scenario to work with. Note- the two scenarios are based on ‘Change Point’ a multi-service center for obesity and a respite care home. Client needs are obesity and Down’s Syndrome.

Lessons and structure covering the inequalities section of unit 10 of the BTEC National. Lessons include references to relevant data which students are required to cover in order to meet the criteria. Three lessons covering section B of the component 3 paper. The first lesson recaps on learning from component 2 where students learned about sources of support. In the second lesson students are introduced to an original case study, Nora, and are then taken through exam question 3 and 4. WAGOLLs and planning structures are included. The final lesson looks at the obstacle question (number 6) and is still based on the Nora case study. After doing these lessons my students massively improved their section B marks.
